This blog will be about feeling out of place. When you feel like you are out of place or you just don’t belong, it can really take a toll on you. Feeling like this can make you feel super down on yourself and then you start to blame yourself. You can keep asking yourself why don’t you fit it, why don’t people include me in things, why am i so alone. Well listen, you are most definitely not alone. There are thousands and billions of people who feel the exact same way you do. And they have no idea what to do either. Sometimes it is okay to not fit it. Fitting into the “in crowd” is pointless because you are constantly trying to be someone that you are not. If you are acting like someone you are not you could eventually lose who you really are. Once you lose who you truly are, it all goes downhill from there. You don’t want to be stuck trying to be someone you are not. You want to be who you are, and be accepted for who you truly are. If someone doesn’t like the person you really are, then they are not worth your time. Don’t blame yourself for not belonging, or not fitting in, because somewhere out there you do belong and you will fit in. Someone may even look up to you. Wouldn’t you rather be the person someone can look up to and set a good example for them than be the person who tries to be someone they are clearly not. In my opinion it is better to be your own person, and to not let what other people think or say about you bring you down. If you are confidant and can really be yourself, then you will belong somewhere. You won’t be left out. Someday you will realize that it isn’t all about being cool or fitting in. It is about being yourself and surrounding yourself with people who can be themselves also. Therefore, be yourself because that is what you are best at after all.
