This blog will be about feeling like a little kid when you are in school. This is because they treat you like you are an immature child. When teachers and administrators treat you like a child you seem to get very annoyed. Especially when you are 18 years old and the school tries to take away your legal rights. That gets you very frustrated because you are legally old enough to vote but you can’t leave school if you wanted to. Lets say you are 18 and live on your own, and you forgot your lunch at your house but the school won’t let you leave without parent permission. But even if your parent does call to get you out of school it doesn’t mean it is an accepted excuse to the school. Anyways, so you are 18 and live on your own and they don’t let you leave without your parents calling. Why should it matter what your parents say if you are 18 years old you can make your own decisions by yourself. It is ridiculous how the school won’t accept that. An 18 year old is legally responsible for yourself, therefore your parents have no say in what you do anymore. But when the school doesn’t understand that and they try to act like they are way more important than your parents or actually your parents. It is truly dumb when you are told you can’t go home for absolutely no reason. I believe that if you are 18 years old and live on your own your parents should not have any say in what you do in school, and where you go, or whatever you do. They are no longer responsible for you. Same goes for the school, at least it should be. Schools should not have a say in what a student does if they are 18 years old or older. The school should respect that the student is an adult and give them the freedoms they should have.
