Venting continued EE2

Summer is right around the corner and I couldn't be more excited. Summer means a lot of things to me, graduation, grad parties, warm weather, concerts, family, road trips, free time, and most importantly, freedom. This school has pretty much turned into a jail, a prison, a high security prison. I will never understand why 17 and 18 year olds need to ask to use the bathroom, and if they don't have a pass they need to stay after until 5:30 pm. This would result in these young adults needing to take off of work to do a disciplinary action for something that is against the 1st amendment. Once summer comes, I will never have to worry about the little things that I shouldn't be worried about. I will never have to step foot in this school again. Summer is entitled to have its ups and downs. Of course the drama isn't going to end just because everyone graduated. But it does give you more of an option to escape it. During summer I have no cares in the world. I can do what I want, when I want. At least when I'm not at work of course. I believe in seasonal depression. In winter when it is cold and snowy and droopy outside, people are more sad and down and pessimistic. But in summer when it is hot and sunny and beautiful outside people are more upbeat and happy and optimistic. Summer is a time of happiness and freedom. That is just another reason why I want to move down south. It is pretty much summer there all year round. It truly wouldn’t bother me to never see another snowflake again. As you can probably tell I am stoked to graduate high school and just be free from everything.
